Retail and Industrial District Plan Provisions
Planz has been engaged by several councils and private interests to develop and refine frameworks for retail and industrial land use provisions within district plans across Christchurch, Auckland, and Taupō
Planz prepared the submission and evidence for the Queenstown Lakes District Plan hearings on behalf of the owner of a large block of rural land in Wanaka, known as Sticky
Planz provided comprehensive RMA planning input for the development of the Lyttelton Port Recovery Plan, enabling the $500 million rebuilding of port infrastructure following the earthquakes.
Planz conducted a comprehensive review of spatial planning tools that were in use across Regional and District Plans throughout New Zealand. This project, commissioned by the Ministry for the Environment
Planz assisted Waikato District Council in assessing submissions on the rural, small settlement, medium density, and Future Urban Zone chapters as part of the District Plan Review.
