Billboards and Signage

The Planz team have extensive experience in successfully consenting a wide variety of billboards and signage across a range of locations and contexts.

Rural tourism

Planz has successfully obtained consents for a diverse range of rural tourism providers across Christchurch City, Banks Peninsula, and the Mackenzie District. Our experience includes securing approvals for jet boat

Cholmondeley Children’s Centre Playground Redevelopment

Planz provided planning support to the Cholmondeley Children’s Centre for the redevelopment of their playground in Governors Bay.

Presbyterian Support & Methodist Mission Centres

Planz played a key role in facilitating the redevelopment of two crucial social support agencies in central Christchurch, both of which sustained significant damage during the earthquakes.

Lyttelton Port Marina

Planz supported the Lyttelton Port Company in obtaining resource consents for the development of land-side facilities for a new recreational boating marina in Lyttelton.

Social Housing

Planz has extensive experience in completing a wide range of social housing projects for clients such as Kāinga Ora Homes and Communities, Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust, and various church organisations.

Christchurch Cathedral Restoration

Following significant earthquake damage to the Cathedral in 2011, Planz were engaged to assist in obtaining a number of consents for the staged reconstruction.

Oxford Terrace – Research and Teaching Facility

Planz secured resource consent for the University of Otago’s new $178 million Christchurch building, slated to open in 2025.
