Social Housing

Planz has extensive experience in completing a wide range of social housing projects for clients such as Kāinga Ora Homes and Communities, Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust, and various church organisations.

Wakatu Quay Development

Planz successfully obtained resource consent for the Wakatu Quay development in Kaikoura, working on behalf of the Kaikoura District Council.

Mastery Schools New Zealand – Arapaki

Planz Consultants successfully obtained resource consent for Mastery Schools New Zealand (MSNZ) - Arapaki, an alternative educational facility for Year 1-8 students disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream

Christchurch Town Hall Repairs & Redevelopment

Planz collaborated with a design, engineering, and heritage team to secure resource consent for the $120 million repair, strengthening, and restoration of the Town Hall.

Churches and Spiritual Facilities

The Planz team assists a wide range of churches and religious organisations in developing spiritual facilities to meet community needs.

Invercargill CBD Redevelopment

Planz processed resource consents for two significant projects in Invercargill's town centre on behalf of the Invercargill City Council.

Nelson Airport – Jenkins Creek Bridges

Planz Consultants are proud to have played a key role in securing the necessary planning approvals for the exciting new bridges across Jenkins Creek.

Christchurch Cathedral Restoration

Following significant earthquake damage to the Cathedral in 2011, Planz were engaged to assist in obtaining a number of consents for the staged reconstruction.

Oxford Terrace – Research and Teaching Facility

Planz secured resource consent for the University of Otago’s new $178 million Christchurch building, slated to open in 2025.
