Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke (Rāpaki) – Marae Development

Planz worked closely with Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke to secure the necessary resource consents for extensions to the existing Rāpaki Marae Complex and the construction of a new sealed

Oxford Terrace – Research and Teaching Facility

Planz secured resource consent for the University of Otago’s new $178 million Christchurch building, slated to open in 2025.

Tupuārangi Student Accommodation

Planz Consultants played a key role in securing resource consent for Tupuārangi, a 283-bed student accommodation facility standing 26.56 metres high on Homestead Lane, part of the University of Canterbury

Air BnB – Short Term Visitor Accommodation

Planz Consultants Limited played a critical role in refining Christchurch’s short-term visitor accommodation rules (Plan Change 4).

Carey Street – Social Housing Redevelopment

Planz secured resource consent for the redevelopment of 1–32 Carey Street, enabling the delivery of 40 high-quality social housing units for a key community housing provider in Christchurch.

Historic Homestead repairs and alterations

Te Ara Ihutai – Coastal Pathway (Moncks Bay Segment): A Story of Innovation and Teamwork

The Christchurch Coastal Pathway, a collaboration between the local community and the Christchurch City Council, extends from Ferrymead to Scarborough Beach and opened in late November 2023.

Drummonds and Dalys Wharf Redevelopment, Akaroa

As part of Christchurch City Council’s initiative to replace and restore the main Akaroa Wharf, the existing Drummonds wharf and Dalys wharf needed to be lengthened and strengthened.
