Our work

Renewable Energy

Planz plays a strategic role in helping New Zealand transition to a low-carbon future by assisting clients with renewable energy projects for solar, hydro and wind power.

These projects typically require a suite of resource consents from both regional and district councils, balancing the benefits of clean energy against landscape and ecological values.

Planz works with clients and technical experts to manage adverse effects and realise project benefits, ensuring a smooth approval process and successful implementation.

Recent Projects include:

  • Te Rere Hau Windfarm
  • Maungaturoto, Naseby, Tararua, Albury and Glenavy Solar Farm
  • Northland & Trust Power
  • Kaniere River Power station
