Our work

Lyttelton Port Marina

Planz supported the Lyttelton Port Company in obtaining resource consents for the development of land-side facilities for a new recreational boating marina in Lyttelton.

The project included creating a master plan for the area, which incorporated car parking, a pedestrian boardwalk along the coastal edge, landscaping, and provisions for future commercial developments to complement the marina precinct.

Additionally, Planz led the formulation of the District Plan component of the Lyttelton Port Recovery Plan under Canterbury Earthquake legislation, facilitating the comprehensive repair and enhancement of port infrastructure following the substantial damage caused by the Canterbury Earthquake.
