Planz prepared the resource consent application to develop Hagley Oval into an international standard cricket ground in Hagley Park.

The project involved presenting evidence at the Environment Court, which led to a favourable decision. Working closely with the Council’s Greenspace asset team,

Planz ensured the application and conditions were comprehensive. Amendments have since been made to meet evolving spectator and player needs, earning a commendation in the 2016 NZPI project award category.
