Amy Beran brings over nine years of experience in resource management planning, with a strong focus on statutory planning, iwi engagement, and cultural values integration. She rejoined Planz in 2025 after time as a Senior Environmental Advisor with Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu and earlier work with Mahaanui Kurataiao.

Amy has extensive experience preparing resource consent applications, outline plans, and expert planning evidence for a wide range of developments, including housing, education, commercial, and papakāinga. She has presented evidence at hearings and is accredited under the Ministry for the Environment’s Making Good Decisions programme.
