Grace has worked at Planz Consultants since September 2019 after completing her Master of Planning Degree at the University of Otago. Her thesis investigated the relief efforts of both Non-Governmental Organisations and Governmental Organisations after the 2015 Nepalese Earthquakes in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector. Grace’s thesis was centred on the impact that government policy, the ‘Cluster Approach’ (a UN mandated disaster relief framework) and existing social structures had on this disaster response. While at Planz her work has included preparing resource consent applications and outline plans for a variety of projects where Grace has provided a high quality and positive outcome for clients.
